Japanese input not working anymore?

The Japanese themes don't allow me to type in Japanese anymore. Even the presentations I already made using the Japanese input - so I know the theme USED to work - doesn't allow me to type anything new in Japanese. What gives?

Honestly, without IME keyboard support, prezi is borderline useless for me...
