increasing maximum image size

Are there any plans to increase the maximum image size allowed in a Prezi? I know that the current 2880 pix maximum is predicated on a limit set by the flash platform. Currently, with images that I have that are longer, I have to cut them up into appropriate tiles and then spend a lot of time placing and zooming and aligning and grouping etc. in order to get back to the appearance of being a single image. Couldn't you have the software do the splitting/placing automatically (or with a few well-chosen user-driven parameters like number of columns/rows etc)?

Even then, when there are a number of tiles at maximum import size (say 20-30) the application frequently does not seem to be able to handle it and crashes when using certain image formats (like jpg).

I work in the Oil & Gas Industry where we would like to be able to drag and drop a well log (or two or three) onto a Prezi canvas to use for comparative visualization presentations. These logs can be typically 10's to 100's of inches long and up to 14 inches wide and they would be in the jpg or gif format.

Indexed color gif's did better than jpg with regard to shaving the size and usability of the final Prezi (due to the inherent size reduction and the consequent 'unpacked' size of a gif vs a jpg).

I'm using Prezi desktop 5.2.5 application on Windows 7 Enterprise (64bit) or Macintosh OS X 10.10 (Yosemite)
