Whenever you click on 'New Prezi' you'll be taken to the template chooser.

From here, select the template that you want to work with and then select 'Use template'.
If you want to create a blank prezi, select 'Start blank prezi'.
Note: Starting a blank prezi will take you into Prezi's Edit Mode and will not feature some of the features designed to help you make a prezi quickly that are detailed in this article.

You're now ready to edit the frames of your prezi.
Select the frame you want to work on as it appears in the Left Sidebar .

This will then take you to the frame where you can do a number of things.
You can change the layout using the options that appear beneath the frame. Choose from a text only layout, a frame with an image, a combination of text and images, or just a blank frame.

Once you have chosen, you can click on text boxes to edit the text or select the images to replace them with your own pictures.
Clicking 'New Frame' will add a new frame within the frame you have currently selected. If you don't want a frame within a frame. Select the overview of your prezi from the Left Sidebar (the overview is always at the top of the Left Sidebar).

Help! I can't pan or zoom around my canvas
Whenever you start a new prezi from a template, the canvas is locked. This makes it easier for you to quickly add text and pictures to a prezi. You can unlock the canvas at anytime by clicking the padlock icon that appears on the right-hand side of your canvas whenever you move your cursor.

When you're happy with all your frames, images, and text. You're ready to present your prezi.
Click 'Present' as it appears in the top-left corner.
