Why not expose all nodes of a prezi - which are managed in either case internally - as a list to the user.
This would make zooming content-wise so much easier.
Wouldn't it? :)
If one accepts this idea....
Why not allow to structure all nodes in a tree-control, so that they can be managed from there?
This would give a navigation pane and a content pane which would stay in sync?
Wouldn't this be easy to implement and a fantastic upgrade to Prezi.
And to add to this:
Why not implement an auto-tree feature which calculates the surface geometry of the shapes and the containment attribute into the tree structure with the simple idea of:
peers are: nodes which do not intersect
childs are: nodes which are fully contained in an other node/frame
for intersected nodes the user decides which is the parent.
Can you imagine the prezi-world with such a feature group. Which in terms of data and structures already managed in the software would be very easy to implement :)
Can you????
I CAN - SHHHHH......
