Zooming between fade-in animations

Hi there. Is there any way to zoom between fade-in objects in the same frame? I have a frame with two pictures that I am fading in. However, I would like to be able to zoom to fade-in and zoom to one picture before fading and zooming into the other. Right now I have to fade in pic1, then pic 2 then zoom to pic 1 then pic 2. Does anyone know of a way to do what I am describing?
