Last-Minute Fade-In Animation Fail

Hi there,

I have been working on a bulky prezi with many images and animations using the built-in world map canvas. Things have been going pretty well until I needed some last minute edits - basically changing a few new paths and changing the fade in animation order - but I'm stuck.

I cannot seem to add any fade in animations at all within the main frame - that's where most of my work is located on the canvas except for just a few images - . The + sign that shows to add the effect does not appear. And I am also having difficulty selecting the objects and can't seem to select some of them. Everything is in hidden frames Looking at the forum, I suspected it might be due to appear order and brought these items to front but no go. Then I also did / undid the image groupings that holds the continents together the canvas originally came up with. Can someone please help me? I need the final prezi in a day the latest.

As a priority I need the two big arrows (between Istanbul - Brussels, and Istanbul - Seattle)
to fade in later at path 18.
