How do I zoom in Item A & then zoom out from Item B?

I need to demonstrate how 2 different users, in different geographic locations can see the same information in a different positions on their screen. 

As such, is there a way I can do the following:

1. Create a path.
2. Zoom IN on a location.
3. Zoom OUT from another.
