problem with e-mail adress

Hi, I'm trying to start account for student/teacher. The e-mail  I use: elenana_n@achva.ac.il. The message I received was: Enter a valid e-mail adress. It is the adress issued to me by my educational institute. How I can solve the problem?  Elena
